About Mene One NY Throwie™

Details

What is the Mene One NY Throwie™ font?

Mene One NY Throwie is a based on the “Throw up” styles, ubiquitous in the streets of NYC. Originally, executed in spray paint, Throw-ups are usually bubble-styled letters, done quickly in 2 or 3 colors with an outline and simple fill. This font incorporates an outline and fill, that when used in layers, can execute 2 color type treatments. Originally from New Jersey, MENE has made his home in, New York City. He had a brief albeit satisfying career of street bombing in the late 90s that saw its end with a brief encounter with the Vandal Squad. More… Now a family man, Mene has dedicated himself to the preservation and education of style in its many forms.
