About Geneva

Details

What is the Geneva font?

Apple system font designed as a bitmap by Susan Kare. Its name reflects the intention to imitate those epitomes of the Swiss style in type design, Helvetica and Univers. More recently the design was made into an outline by the Bigelow and Holmes studio, but the bitmaps produced at small sizes are identical to Kare’s.
