What is the 1613 Basilius font?
This family was created inspired from the typeface models hand drawn circa 1610s by Basilius Besler (Germany) for the carved plates of his spendid “Hortus eystettensis”, a botanical manual, masterpiece of the period.
This “Pro” font contains standard ligatures & numerous alternates, usable for Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Baltic and Turkish.
