What is the Strayhorn® font?
Happy to work behind the scenes, yet able to take center stage. Sophisticated, yet never intimidating. Designer Michael Harvey has imbued a typeface with the personality of Billy Strayhorn, jazz great Duke Ellington’s right-hand man and collaborator.
Strayhorn, a sans serif adaptation of Harvey’s Ellington, eloquently conveys a dynamic range of emotions. Use the bold and extra bold faces for a more vigorous presence in headlines, advertising or on the Web. The companion Small Caps and Oldstyle Figures package ensures that, like its versatile namesake, Strayhorn’s artistic repertoire is virtually unlimited.
