What is the Pavo font?
Pavo is inspired by Herb Lubalin’s Avant Garde but is pushed to be what Avant Garde initially should have been: a Headline Typeface. Avant Garde was not intended to be used for copy text. This is the idea behind Pavo.
Pavo is intended to be used as a Headline Typeface, and with it’s very thin and fragile characters the designer who uses it is forced to work with it in very large sizes.
