In an effort to preserve this visual culture, Ulanovsky set out to create a typeface that captured the essence of these traditional letterforms, blending them with a modern design ethos. Her efforts resulted in the creation of Montserrat, a geometric sans-serif font that combines old-world charm and modern minimalism in a harmonious blend.
