About JHA Zucker

Details

What is the JHA Zucker font?

Zucker is an extreme point of type. It is an artifact of neo-classic times (enlightenment) with its beautiful types like Bodoni, Walbaum and Didot. The fineness of copperplate engraving is now replaced by digital accurateness. But it is like the reproduction technique couldn't keep up with the letters and all connections are dissolved. The leftover is a visual experiment, the reader completes the type.
