What is the Cultura font?

I started designing Cultura in 2003 for a book about the city of Porto, Portugal. It was supposed to be a typeface only to use in that book and only in Regular and Italic, but after a large amount of requests I decided to expand the family, creating SmallCaps and Bold versions with some ligatures for better text possibilities.
