About Fatty

Details

What is the Fatty font?

Fatty is based on the lettering in a series of silkscreened posters by my friend Chris May. Upon transforming it into a full-fledged digital font, I developed alternate letterforms for the lowercase. The bloated forms maintain a playfully lighthearted presence with all the rounded edges. The Solid weight takes on a more ominous air -- faceless and mildly foreboding in the absence of the counters.
