What is the Fleurie font?

Fleurie is a small town in France on the high banks of the Beaujolais area where they make excellent, fruity wine. Fleurie means flowery and that is what that village and this font is all about.
The font is very much a decorated script inspired by the 1920s in gaie Paris. Fleurie comes in a package of two fonts which are intended to be mixed as you please.
The Fleurie font has normally decorated capitals and sparingly decorated lowercase letters. Whereas the Fleurie Plus has heavily decorated capitals and plain lowercase letters that are different to the ones from the other font. More…
I want the two to be mixed, that is why I only sell the pair together!
Your flowery designer, Gert Wiescher.
