What is the FF Ernestine® font?

Swiss type designer Nina Stössinger created this slab serif FontFont in 2011.
The family has 8 weights, ranging from Light to Bold (including italics) and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, editorial and publishing, logo, branding and creative industries as well as sports.
FF Ernestine provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures, small capitals, petite capitals, alternate characters, case-sensitive forms, and fractions. More…
It comes with a complete range of figure set options – oldstyle and lining figures, each in tabular and proportional widths.
As well as Latin-based languages, the typeface family also supports the Armenian writing system, which was designed by Hrant Papazian.

Is A free font? Is Free to Download?

No, is not free to download. You will need to pay for it I'm afraid. Almost every font that we list on HighFonts.com is a paid-for, premium font. We do have a Free Fonts section where we list free fonts that you can download. There is no point trying to find a free download of so please don't waste your time looking.
