What is the Candida® font?
Designed by J. Erbar for Ludwig & Mayer in 1936, Candida has very slight slab serifs and unusually high contrast. The lowercase is slightly condensed, with a tall x-height; the capitals are quite wide. This is a legible face that is good for text in newspapers and magazines, as well as in larger sizes for signage or billboards.
