What is the Amaro font?

Amaro is the Italian word for bitter (amaro) herbal drinks like Ramazotti, Averna and a trillion lesser known ones. These liquors were the literal base for this elaborate set of four fonts. Each has different uppercase letters and some of the lowercase letters vary as well. Amaro-A, B, and C can be mixed freely. The Amaro-D has underlining swashes in two different lengths, the uppercase has the shorter underlines and the lowercase the longer ones. I throw these in for free and the entire set is very reasonably priced.
Enjoy and cheers to you!

Is Amaro Free to Download?

YES - Amaro is 100% free to download for personal use only. Amaro might be available to use commercially. Check in the information box in the side bar. If you want to download this font for commercial use, then you might need to get special permission from the author. A large selection of fonts that we feature on HighFonts.com like Amaro are free to use fonts. But if you can't find what you are looking for, then sometimes it makes sense to purchase a premium / paid for font.

It is sometimes the case that you won't be able to get permission to use free fonts like Amaro for a commercial project. When this happens it can be a lot easier and cheaper to just buy a premium font and not have the hassle of trying to get a commercial license for a free font.

Note that there are a lot of websites that will say "Free Download" but these are just attempts to get you to click on a link which will either take you to an ad landing page or you risk getting viruses on your computer. In the rare occasion that you do find a free download for all uses for a font like Amaro remember that it's illegal to use a font if you didn't get permission for it!
